We are excited to announce the European tour of Return to Palestine which will embark on a string of performances in Sweden, France and Luxembourg this autumn. This play was originally produced in 2016 and has been performed internationally at various festivals over the past two years. Earlier this month, our team travelled to Egypt to take part in the 25th International Theatre Festival in Cairo and continued to bring the Palestinian message with a powerful performance, depicting life in Palestine under occupation.
At the end of October, graduates of The Freedom Theatre school (who helped devise the play) will head to Europe and spend a month in Sweden, France, Ireland and Luxembourg with a number of performances, post show discussions and Q&A sessions. This will be the first time we visit these areas in Luxembourg, Ireland and France and we hope to reach as many communities (both English and Arab speaking) as possible.
