The Freedom Theatre’s cooperation with British comedians Mark Thomas and Sam Beale continues this month with an intensive workshop that will end with two public presentations at The Freedom Theatre.
Mark Thomas is a British comedian, presenter, political satirist and journalist, who is a long-time friend of The Freedom Theatre. Sam Beale is a senior lecturer in Theatre Arts at Middlesex University, London, who has developed the university’s Solo Performance programme and taught stand-up comedy for over 20 years. Beale and Thomas initiated the comedy workshop at The Freedom Theatre in January and during April 14-30, the second part of the training will be held, with the aim of establishing the first comedy club in Palestine.
