Archbishop Antje Jackelén, Bishop Emeritus Jan-Olof Johansson and Bishop Ragnar Persenius with members of the Uppsala diocese visited The Freedom Theatre on February 10. The archbishop, bishops and other visitors were given a presentation of the theatre’s activities, which include a theatre school, drama workshops, theatre productions and tours, photography courses and a newly established child centre with activities for young children. The Swedish group also met The Freedom Theatre’s acting students who are in the last of three years of education in the theatre school.
The trip is led by Bishop Emeritus Jan-Olof Johansson, who is chairman of the Swedish Jerusalem Society:
