Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. It is a time when Muslims around the world fast from dawn until sunset, and turn their focus to prayer and spiritual reflection. This year, Ramadan will start on the 18th of June and continue for 30 days.
During Ramadan, The Freedom Theatre will have limited opening hours. We are happy to receive visitors during these hours and ask everyone to contact us beforehand, by email: info@thefreedomtheatre.org.
Note that during the first and last week of Ramadan we will not be able to receive guests. The opening times in Ramadan are 28 June to 9 July, from 9:00 to 14:00.
We appreciate it if all guests show respect for those who are fasting by not drinking, eating or smoking at the theatre during fasting hours.
