 Acting School
The Theatre School curriculum includes ongoing classes in Acting, Movement and Voice, as well as specialist classes in a range of subjects, such as Dance, Pantomime, Music, Masks and Commedia dell'Arte. In addition to such practical subjects, the regular teaching programme also includes classes in Social and Cultural Studies and the students apply their skills by putting up regular theatre productions. In 2008 The Freedom Theatre opened the first Acting School in Palestine - a three-year professional theatre training programme for young adults. The school aims to foster a new generation of theatre professionals who are open to exploring innovative artistic strands in the field, while also using the arts as an important tool for positive social change in their community.
