In addition to the theatre building, The Freedom Theatre operates an Activities Centre, which includes a Computer Centre, an Arts and Media Library, as well as office and meeting spaces.
The Ahmad El-Khatib Computer Centre is equipped with 15 computers and offers classes in Basic Computer Skills for children, youth and adults. In addition, a community based Creative Computer Programme is available for youth through Relief International's Schools Online which The Freedom Theatre participates in.
The primary constituency of the Computer Centre is those associated with The Freedom Theatre, but its facilities are available to the whole community, as well as to partners and other organisations. In addition, the centre will serve as a vital resource for the Multi-Media Programme which is currently being planned.
The Freedom Theatre Arts and Media Library makes available a wealth of resources in theatre, music and other arts, as well as in Palestinian heritage. This space is used by children, staff and instructors who wish to deepen their knowledge of a particular art form in a quiet and comfortable place. The space also offers after-school activities of literature and poetry readings, film screenings, storytelling, board games and discussions. Materials are still being gathered for the library collection, which once completed will consists of about 1000 books, 100 CDs and 100 DVDs, as well as audio and visual equipment for viewing or listening to library materials.
